Meet Claire Prejean, MA, LBA, BCBA

Claire Prejean is a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) based in Lafayette, LA. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. During her undergraduate studies, Claire began working as a Registered Behavior Technician providing direct services to children and adolescents ages 2–18 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Through this experience, she discovered her passion for Applied Behavior Analysis and supporting children and families in meaningful, individualized ways.

Claire later earned her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, along with a graduate certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorder, from Ball State University in Muncie. Throughout her clinical experience, she has worked one-on-one with individuals presenting a wide range of behavioral needs across a variety of settings.

Claire is passionate about developing and implementing ABA programs that are compassionate, individualized, and centered around each family’s unique priorities and goals. She believes children learn best when they feel regulated, engaged, and motivated through play-based learning experiences. Her approach focuses on creating environments where children are enthusiastic and willing participants in their therapy while building meaningful skills that support success across home, school, and community settings.

Claire prioritizes collaboration with families to ensure treatment goals align with both short-term needs and long-term outcomes. She is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based services that empower children to grow in confidence, communication, independence, and joy.
